TIP #1: Prep the skin 24 hours before tanning

Exfoliating helps to remove any flaky, dead skin to reveal a fresh layer of soft, silky skin. TIP #2: Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise!
In the lead up to tanning, make sure you’re keeping up with your skincare regime!
There are a few areas of the body that tend to dry out faster and need a little extra TLC. Apply a moisturiser to your hands, elbows, knees, ankles and feet. The self-tanning agent in most tans tends to cling to the drier areas of the body, absorbing it at a faster rate. This step promotes an even tan and encourages a smooth fade.
